Monika
Puri

Registered Architect (ANZIA)
Passive House Design Consultant
Homestar Assessor

BArch – Bachelor of Architecture + Masters in Construction Management

Societies, and social relationship patterns and interaction drive most of Monika’s designs. With her 19 years in architecture, she has extensive experience in commercial, residential and community projects — but she is most passionate about housing. Growing up in India and living her early life in high density housing, Monika intrinsically understands spaces that create neighbourhoods, join communities and link back to the urban fabric of the city. Monika’s passion for design, eye for detail and construction experience on projects all contribute to creating architecture that is a celebration of life itself.

Candela
Rebora

Designer

Bachelor of Architecture

Candela joins our team from Argentina, a heterogeneous country in socio-cultural matters, due to its great diversity of indigenous people and European influence. She finds her inspiration amongst nature, organic shapes and simple living. Candela has a great passion for architecture based on natural materials, such as wood, fibre, bamboo and earth. She is also a great believer in the way lives can be improved through architecture, and has a strong sense of responsibility to develop and design a sustainable environment for future generations. Candela’s skill set of 3D visualisation and augmented reality allow us to explore and decipher design forms in innovative ways.

Sophie Save
Calmette

Designer

Masters of Architecture + Bachelor of Architectural Studies

Sophie is passionate about architecture and photography. She finished her Bachelor’s degree in Belgium and then proceeded to study Master’s degree in her home country, France, where she specialised in timber construction and passive design houses. Her work is influenced by places and people she has met during her travels around the world.

She constantly strives to improve the lives of others; for example in Senegal, she worked alongside the local women in the fields and helped build a computer room in the local school. On Reunion Island, she sourced local materials like coconut trees for construction. Sophie’s approach to architecture is driven by conscientiousness.

Pam
Carter

Senior Designer

Master of Architecture
Bachelor of Architecture
Bachelor of Building Science

Pam is a first-generation New Zealander from the Manawatu, who is getting back into architecture after taking time out to raise her family.  She has 10 years’ experience in the industry, working on a wide range of mainly commercial and educational projects, and she has also loved houses from a young age.  Her Masters’ thesis looked at the meaning of house and home in a New Zealand setting, and the part architecture plays in helping us to feel at home.  Pam recognises that people are at the heart of all architecture, and she loves working with the whole team of people that ultimately produces a building, and designing architecture that both comforts and inspires.
