Occupying barely 24 sqm, this food outlet is part of a boutique ‘street eatery’ food court. Within the compact footprint, the design program consisted of a public servery area at the front and commercial kitchen and ancillary spaces at the back.
Traditional murals from individual countries and pop street art are integrated as placemaking features within this cluster of diverse urban eateries. Adapting similar tectonics, we designed bespoke timber panelling, graphics and strategic lighting design to create a micro-urban experience within the larger context.
